Grey Owl Capital Management, LLC is an SEC-registered investment advisor whose goal is to provide superior absolute investment returns for our clients. We provide a go-anywhere, opportunity-driven investment process that seeks out the best alternatives for capital appreciation across multiple asset classes. Clients can currently access this process through our separately managed account platform with assets custodied at Fidelity.

Why Grey Owl?  The Great Grey Owl is a bird of prey.  An opportunistic hunter, the owl is patient, will wait for ideal conditions, and travel great lengths in search of food.  The bird has excellent sight and hearing, as well as the ability to crash through a foot of heavy snow to snare a fast moving meal.  Owls are also a symbol of wisdom in many cultures.  All an ideal analogy, we think, for a firm whose investment process is rooted in deep research, patience, and selectivity.
